You're probably aware of how wonderful mugs are when it comes to coffee and tea, but they are vastly underrated. In fact, it's possible to eat an entire day's worth of meals — including an afternoon snack and dessert — all from your favorite microwave-safe mug.
In the video below, Gemma Stafford of Bigger Bolder Baking whips up five different meals that can be made in a mug. Not only are these meals incredibly easy to prepare (and save tons of cleanup time as you don't need any additional pots or pans), but they are simply divine. These recipes have you covered for breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack, dinner, and dessert.

The recipe that blew our minds was Stafford's ingenious method for making pizza in a mug. While it seems unfeasible, the finished product looked delicious. If you'd like to try it at home here's what you'll need:
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
⅛ teaspoon of baking powder
1/16 teaspoon of baking soda
⅛ teaspoon of salt
3 tablespoons of milk
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of marinara sauce
1 generous tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese
5 mini pepperoni
½ teaspoon of dried Italian herbs (such as basil or oregano)
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
⅛ teaspoon of baking powder
1/16 teaspoon of baking soda
⅛ teaspoon of salt
3 tablespoons of milk
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of marinara sauce
1 generous tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese
5 mini pepperoni
½ teaspoon of dried Italian herbs (such as basil or oregano)
To begin, you'll want to make the pizza dough. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in the mug.
Then, add in the milk and oil. Stir well until it reaches a batter-like consistency.
Next, gently spoon the marinara sauce on top of the batter. Take care in spreading an even layer over the surface.
Then, add the toppings of your choice. Stafford used mozzarella cheese, but feel free to substitute whatever cheese you'd prefer.
She also added the cutest mini pepperoni and dried herbs to hers, but don't be afraid to add other toppings such as mushrooms, sausage, or even crumbled bacon bits to yours.
Simply pop it in the microwave for 1 minute and 10 to 20 seconds, or until the cheese bubbles, and enjoy!
